How does this whole multiple registries thing work out?  We're registering at Macy's and Bed Bath & Beyond as well as Amazon.com/Universal Wish List but do we register for the same stuff at all 3 places?  Completely different stuff?  Doesn't matter?

Is that true?

I have received a lot of registry requests that way and never thought less of someone for it or even had a second thought about it.
